SUMMARY:Spring Women's Retreat
DESCRIPTION:Our Spring Women’s Retreat is a wonderful opportunity for us to get away\, connect with other women\, and hear encouraging thoughts to help us view our lives through the lens of God’s Word. All this while enjoying the beauty of God’s creation! We’ve structured our retreat to include Biblical teaching\, interactive learning experiences\, and plenty of time for reflection and connection. \nWe’ll be returning to Pilgrim Pines Conference Center in Swanzey\, NH for our retreat in 2019. The retreat will begin at 7 pm on Friday\, April 26th and end after dinner on Saturday\, April 27th. There is an option to stay an extra night on Saturday. \nHe Brings the Rain: Learning to Embrace the Storms of Life\n\nWhat does it mean to have joy in Christ\, no matter our circumstances? How does confidence and real trust in God develop in our hearts? Come join us for a weekend away to consider these questions complete with space to be quiet\, opportunities to grow friendships\, and encouragement to wrestle with and rest in our Savior. \n“God is our refuge and strength\, a very present help in trouble. Therefore\, we will not fear though the earth gives way\, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea\, though its waters roar and foam\, though the mountains tremble at its swelling. There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God\, the holy habitation of the Most High. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved; God will help her when morning dawns. The nations rage\, the kingdoms totter; he utters his voice\, the earth melts. The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.” (Psalm 46:1-7) \nRetreat Speaker – Dori Willeman\nDon and Dori Willeman moved to the Upper Valley 20 years ago to start Christ Redeemer Church. As the pastor’s wife\, Dori has served various capacities at the church and in the community. She is passionate about ministering to woman through teaching and discipleship. During our weekend\, she looks forward to sharing how her view of God has been shaped through suffering and the hope offered in Christ. \nRetreat Accommodations & Cost\nOne night: (Friday night stay; breakfast\, lunch & dinner on Saturday) \nTwo nights: (Friday & Saturday night stay; breakfast\, lunch & dinner on Saturday & breakfast on Sunday) \nSaturday only: (no lodging\, includes breakfast\, lunch\, & dinner) \nRooming options include singles\, doubles\, and group options for 3-8 women in cabins or apartments (no bunkbeds). \nThis event has passed. \nPayment Options: If you would like to pay online\, you may do so through a direct debit from your checking account below.
