Living Out the Challenge of the Book of Jude

The Book of Jude is the smallest in the New Testament, but it packs a big punch. It urges us to “contend for the faith”—to recognize that a battle is raging for our hearts and minds. But, the greatest threat in that battle is never trouble from outside the church, but always false teaching from within—the corruption of the gospel itself. Therefore, we must be vigilant to maintain the purity of the gospel, in both our doctrine and practice, in what we believe and how we behave. The good news is that as we build ourselves up in “this most holy faith”, we can be confident that God is able to keep us in the truth of Christ, both now and forevermore.
